connecting to school wi-fi problems

Hi,

I wonder if anyone can help. I'm trying to connect to the school wifi but can't. The IT guy at school told me to name the device -raspberry-PI-Phy1 - which I think I have done following an on-line recipe.
Apparently we have SSID encryption type WPA2.
I've been told to access an SSID and set a proxy using a given address and port. I don't really get what this means and don't know how to do it.
When I try and use the wifi connector in rasperian I obviously have done something wrong because after I put in all the information it doesn't connect and seems to be cycling around a four-way handshake on the status.

Any help will be apprecited.

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
